Durham University RFC raise over £2,000 for blOKes

We are incredibly pleased to announce that the University of Durham's BUCS Super Rugby team has raised a staggering £2,065 for blOKes at their home game against the University of Bath on Wednesday 20th October.

The team decided to donate all proceeds from ticket sales (£1-£3 per ticket) and from spectator donations to blOKes, with university ambassadors Charlie Yau, Tom Fitzgerald and Ollie Strudwick, and club captain Fred Davies organising the fundraising event.

Tom Home, Founder of blOKes, said: "We are so grateful for Durham University RFC's generosity by supporting blOKes through this BUCS Super Rugby fixture. The money raised will help us continue to make men's mental health resources free for schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs, and businesses across the UK, as well as supporting the developmental plans for blOKes moving into 2022 and beyond.

"A huge thank you to Fred, Charlie, Ollie, and Tom for organising such a successful event and to all the spectators for their kind donations."
